I made this cake a week ago for a lovely couple who were tying the knot for the second time. They wanted something really different which turned out really well. The bottom tier was double chocolate topped with a mixture of chocolate truffles. In the middle there was red velvet with red poppy flavoured fondant icing. The top tier was a moist citrus cake with orange cream cheese icing, topped off with 2 doves.

15 days is really not a long time to sort out your Valentines plans. Maybe you don’t want to go all out and do dinner, flowers, movie etc. Why not send cake? Lets be honest in this heat the flowers have very little chance of survivng more than 2 days. At least if you send cake she can enjoy it with more than her eyes. You know she’ll love it.

Girls! Send him a batch of Red Velvet cupcakes with our delisciously decadent cream cheese frosting. He’ll be the envy of the office. He may even save one to share with you for dessert

I’m so pleased to announce that the secret ingredient is now sporting a beautiful secret garden. Fresh herbs, celery, lettuce, chillies, aubergine, are amoung what is growing. The smell of the basil is gorgeous. I’m thinking Italian….

Valentines Day special

Lets spice up Valentines day this year. For the month of February, we at TSI headquarters will be delivering individual cupcakes in clear boxes with a long stemmed red rose to that someone special. There will be free delivery in and around the CBD. We are taking orders now. All orders need to be placed by Saturday the 11 Feb.

Hey guys,

So I’ve been playing around with a new idea for a cupcake. And I’ve come up with an ABSOLUTELY EPIC one. I hope that Cape Town is ready for this because I know I am. It’s a cupcake in a jar! Yes you read that right. It’s everything you normally get from a cupcake except you avoid getting frosting all over your face. Now I know that in some instances a face full of frosting is fun, but for more formal events where it would be frowned upon a cupcake in a jar is the perfect solution….
